How others have experienced this
The hardest step is the first one. Below you can read how men have experienced the path to REVIVO: from the doubt beforehand to the treatment itself. All stories are anonymised.
The threshold
What held men back before they took the step.
For five years I used pills. They worked, but it was not a solution. Every time thinking in advance whether you have brought a pill. On holiday, the same thing. I thought: it comes with my age. Until I heard there was something that tackles the problem at its root.

I never talked about it with anyone. Certainly not on the football pitch. But I knew something was off. Sometimes it worked fine, sometimes it did not. That uncertainty was the worst part. You barely dare to take the initiative anymore.

I did not know there was more than pills. My GP prescribed Tadalafil and that was it. Only when a friend told me about this treatment did I start looking. I wish I had known sooner.

It felt like failure. I am a man, it is supposed to work. My girlfriend said: take your time. But the pressure was in my own head. That cycle of fear and doubt, you do not just break out of it.

The intake
How the first appointment went.

I was nervous. But the doctor introduced himself, said everything was confidential, and simply asked how I was doing. No interrogation, no awkward checklists. You share what you want to share. At some point you forget you are at a doctor's office.

Beforehand I had received videos explaining how shockwave and PRP work. So the doctor did not need to explain everything and there was room for my questions. That was pleasant. You do not feel caught off guard.

What struck me: the doctor said more than half of men over 40 have this problem. I did not know that. It was a relief to hear I am not the only one. That took an enormous weight off my shoulders.
The treatment
How the sessions were experienced.
Shockwave feels like a light tapping on your skin. I compared it to the ticking sound of a heating pipe. No pain, no anaesthesia needed. The doctor explained what he was going to do at every step. After twenty minutes it was done.
I was most nervous about the PRP. Drawing blood, centrifuging, injecting. Sounds intense. But the numbing cream had already been applied, so I felt almost nothing. The doctor showed me the vial after centrifuging. My own concentrate. That made an impression.
In between we just chatted about the weekend, about the kids. It did not feel like a hospital visit. More like an appointment with someone you know. Afterwards I thought: that was it? Had I been stressing about that all this time?
After three weeks the treatment course was completed. Six shockwave sessions, two PRP sessions. The doctor was honest: results do not come tomorrow, not next week. But after a month or two I started noticing a difference. Better morning erections as the first sign.
Looking back
What men now say about their decision.
“I wish I had gone sooner. Not just because of the result, but because the threshold turned out to be so much lower than I thought.”
Man, 42
“The best part is that I no longer think about it. No pills, no planning, just trusting my own body again.”
Man, 45
“The doctor gave his personal number. If anything came up, I could call him. That feeling of: you are not in this alone. That made the difference.”
Man, 48
“Sex is spontaneous again. No more thinking beforehand whether you have taken a pill. That is what I wanted.”
Man, 40
