Preparing for the intake
Your first appointment at REVIVO is a full medical consultation of 45 minutes with the physician. We reserve 90 minutes, so you can move straight into your first treatment if you and the physician agree. Here is what to expect.
What the intake involves
The intake is a full medical consultation, conducted by or under the responsibility of a registered urologist. In 45 minutes, we carefully assess your situation and determine together what the best approach is.
The conversation
We start with your story. What are you experiencing, since when, what have you already tried? The physician asks about your medical history, medication use, lifestyle, and risk factors. Open and without judgement.
Validated questionnaires
We use the IIEF-EF, EHS, and SEP-2/3 questionnaires. These are internationally recognised measurement instruments that objectively assess the severity of your symptoms. We use the same questionnaires later to measure whether the treatment is having an effect.
Screening
The physician performs a cardiovascular screening (Princeton III criteria). When indicated, additional blood testing may be ordered: testosterone, thyroid function, metabolic markers. On indication, a penile colour Doppler ultrasound follows.
Your personal treatment plan
Together with the physician, you discuss which approach best suits your situation. You receive a written treatment recommendation with the advised programme, costs, and expectations. Clear and straightforward, so you can make a well-informed decision.
Start straight after the intake
We deliberately reserve 90 minutes for your appointment. After the consultation, if you and the physician agree, you move straight into your first treatment. No second appointment needed.

What happens next?
If you start straight after the intake, you are already on your way. Would you rather take some time to think it over? That is perfectly fine. You receive the written recommendation and can get in touch at any time with questions.
Our approach is always honest. The physician only recommends what makes medical sense for your situation. You decide when and how to proceed.
