Privacy policy

Your privacy is not an afterthought for us. Below you can read how we handle your personal data, what rights you have, and how you can exercise them.

Who are we?

REVIVO B.V. is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. We are a men's health clinic with locations in Hoofddorp, Zandvoort and Utrecht, the Netherlands.

What data do we collect?

We process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, address
  • Medical data: symptom profile, medical history, questionnaire scores (IIEF-EF, EHS, SEP), examination results
  • Administrative data: insurance details, billing information
  • Website data: usage statistics and campaign attribution, depending on your cookie choices

Why do we collect this data?

  • Providing medical care and maintaining your medical file
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Invoicing and administration
  • Complying with legal obligations (Wgbo, Wkkgz)
  • Quality improvement and outcome measurement (anonymised)

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the following legal grounds:

  • Performance of the treatment agreement
  • Legal obligation (Wgbo: retention period for medical records)
  • Legitimate interest (quality improvement, anonymised data)
  • Consent (when receiving our guide by email)

How long do we retain your data?

  • Medical file: 20 years after the last treatment (Wgbo)
  • Financial records: 7 years (fiscal retention obligation)
  • Email addresses (guide): until you unsubscribe
  • Website data: maximum 26 months

Do we share your data with third parties?

We share data only where needed for care delivery, business operations or legal obligations, or according to your consent and cookie choices:

  • Your GP or urologist (at your request)
  • The laboratory performing your blood tests
  • Our accountant (financial data only)
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads (website analytics, campaign and conversion measurement according to your cookie choices)
  • Vercel Analytics (technical usage statistics)

We do not sell personal data. Website analytics and advertising measurement follow the choices you make in the cookie banner.

Marketing and advertising attribution

REVIVO uses Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure website use, campaign performance and conversions. Where consent is required, we respect your choice through the cookie banner and Google Consent Mode.

Which cookies and signals we use

The site uses a functional attribution cookie and, depending on your choices, analytics and advertising cookies:

  • revivo_attr stores campaign attribution, such as a Google Click ID, without a name, email address or phone number
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads may use cookies and measurement signals according to your cookie-banner choice
  • Google Consent Mode communicates your choice to Google services
  • You can change your preferences later through the cookie banner

What we share with Google Ads

When you book an appointment, we send Google Ads a single server-to-server message after your booking containing:

  • the Google Click ID (no personal data)
  • the time of your booking
  • the anonymised treatment value

We do NOT send your email, phone number, name or any other personal data to Google. We deliberately do NOT use Enhanced Conversions for Leads, specifically to protect your privacy.

Our measurement boundaries

  • We do not sell medical record data
  • We do not share medical record content with advertising platforms
  • We do not use website behaviour for automated medical decisions
  • You can change your analytics and advertising preferences through the cookie banner

Removing your conversion data

You can have your conversion data removed at any time by emailing welkom@re-vivo.nl with the request 'remove Google Ads conversion'. We delete your data within 30 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access: you may request which data we process about you
  • Correction: you may have incorrect data corrected
  • Deletion: you may request deletion of your data (unless a legal retention obligation applies)
  • Restriction: you may request restriction of processing
  • Portability: you may receive your data in a common format
  • Objection: you may object to processing based on legitimate interest

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorised access and unlawful processing. Medical data is stored in a secured patient file system that complies with the NEN 7510 standard.

Filing a complaint

If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, you can contact us at welkom@re-vivo.nl. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
